There is always that unpleasant feeling when you spend hours and hours crafting the perfect, strong-angled and compelling press release and no one contacts you. Can you imagine how unpleasant the feeling would be to later realise the reason you haven’t heard from anyone is because you’ve included the wrong contact details?
It is always a good idea to ring your own number to check what you’ve written down is correct and will also give you the chance to listen to your own voicemail.
Keep in mind... Unprofessional voicemails can be very discouraging.
